Elvis completed the recording of the soundtrack of Wild In The Country between 9.00 and 11.45 a.m. There were 2 different versions of I Slipped, I Stumbled, I Fell recorded. One for the movie and the other for a single release.

Elvis was visited on the set of It Happened At The World's Fair by his father and the Memphis mayor, where the mayor officially accepted Elvis' donation of $50,000 for a couple of Memphis charities.

Elvis had to send Priscilla back to Memphis in order to avoid trouble because Ann-Margret was quoted in the press that she was in love with Elvis and didn't know if they would marry. So the Colonel advised Elvis to avoid inquiries in his relation with Priscilla.
